The “fairy tale king” Ludwig II built Neuschwanstein castle remains the biggest tourist attraction in Bavaria. Popular with visitors destinations in Bayreuth and Munich.

With around 1.5 million guests in the year 2018, the fairy tale was the castle in the Allgäu once again the most popular destination in Bavaria. The Ministry of Finance announced on Monday in Munich.
