Stream Campus Concert In 2018
India, a country with a thousand-year-old music, culture, stand 2018 in the heart of the Campus project of the Deutsche Welle and the Beethovenfest Bonn. In it, young musicians from India and Germany were the percussionists and dancers of the Taal Yogi Ashram & Nãd-Roop Percussion Ensembles, and the Ensemble SPLASH – Perkussion NRW and the German Federal youth orchestra.
In the unique program, under the direction of conductor Leslie Suganandarajah a productive dialogue between the sound worlds of the Occident and the classical Indian art music. The Highlight of the DW-commissioned work “Kismet”, which was developed by Bernhard schimpelsberger and Rakesh Chaurasia.
The Campus project is a meeting format for the cultures of Europe and the transmitting regions of the DW.
