The Jury found the Chinese office MAD Architects-designed building “is just as unconventional as harmoniously”. The shape of the building is inspired by traditional Chinese landscape painting.

    The Oasia Downtown by WOHA is a green high-rise. The green giant has vertical gardens and is an eye-catcher in the concrete jungle of the Southeast Asian city-state. For the Jury of the International highrise award in 2018, a natural oasis, protected from the sun and the rain in the densely built-up Singapore.

The international Prestige that is associated with the high house price, is high. More than 1000 construction projects, high-profile architecture offices were this time. 36 projects were at the end, in the final selection, and five of them in the final.
