McDonald’s rises after 41 years prematurely as a Sponsor of the Olympic games. The Fast-Food chain from the USA was one of the Top sponsors of the Olympic movement. In the future, they wanted to set other priorities.

It is the end of a long partnership. The world restaurant chain McDonald’s and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the largest Fast henceforth our separate ways. This was confirmed by both parties on Friday. The U.S. company since 1976 to be one of the Top sponsors of the Olympic movement. As the IOC announced, ending the partnership with McDonalds, with immediate effect, the U.S. company will play in the winter of 2018 in Pyeongchang, South Korea (9. to 25. The withdrawal of McDonald’s as a Top Sponsor seems to come as a surprise. However, the Fast Food company has problems. The paragraphs do not decline, the new products to come as desired. This is probably the reason for the Burger specialists have been to Pyeongchang in the coming year from the sponsorship to pull back, only two years before the expiry of the contract.

A new Top Sponsor of the Angel?

Of doom and gloom can be at the IOC after the departure of McDonald’s, but no speech. Because in spite of image loss and dwindling credibility of the IOC, there will be a different world, that in Lausanne, with President Thomas Bach of the next potent contract is complete. It is rumored that soon the Chip-giant Intel closes the gap.

In addition, the IOC has twelve other Top sponsors under contract. These include General Electric, Samsung, Toyota, Coca Cola and Visa.
