The German singer Jasmin Tabatabai and David Klein Quartet opened at 12. May the Festival in the Telekom Forum. As a small Appetizer to the Audio Podcast we have for you here two Songs from the concert.

The successful actress and the ECHO Jazz prize winner has performed together with the excellent Quartet of the Swiss saxophonist David Klein. Personable and easy to angejazzt they sang songs of Hildegard Knef, the Puhdys, or of Reinhard Mey and Georg Kreisler. Their entertaining presentation, agreed with the audience, sometimes thoughtfully, other times, they triggered a joyful Smile. Impressive: film critics feel for the correct selection of the Songs and the soothing embedding into the Jazz Idiom through the Band by David Small.

Our Audio Samples:

– “What do you say to the people, when one is sad?” by Georg Kreisler

– “After you killed me” by Jasmin Tabatabai
