Europe: Malta sounds to be a guest of the Ministry of Finance

Europe is much more than a purely economic purpose to the community. The also want to the Federal Ministry of Finance with its concert series “sounds of Europe” show – this time with sounds from the island of Malta.

In the course of his 8. Edition of the concert series “sounds of Europe” welcomes the German Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) in Berlin on 16. May Malta – the country that currently holds the EU presidency. With a range of classical to folk, Jazz to Pop is likely to be something for every taste. The Valletta International Baroque Ensemble (VIBE) brings with music by Maltese composers of the Baroque new life.

The melancholic Pop Band “The Travellers”, which is especially known in Malta, is also involved and carries their Songs in English and Maltese, the two official languages of Malta. Furthermore, there are also “Live painting” by the artist Anthony De Giovanni.

A musical journey through Europe

The series of events “sounds like Europe” has been held since 2013 and has already presented music and culture from Estonia, Latvia, Greece, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Slovakia and the Netherlands. The choice of the countries is mostly in connection with the presidency of the EU, or with a fiscal occasion.
