LG has a smartphone that comes with a pair of virtual eyes. That eyes respond to such movements. Through the eyes of the Aka smartphones, the users would form an emotional bond with their device build.
The Aka is a midrange smartphone that LG in its home country of South Korea as well as abroad. The smartphones can of colored pockets to be provided, above which a portion of the screen sticks out. That part of the screen shows on standby, the eyes.
There are four colour covers: yellow, black, white and pink and each case allows for a different ‘personality’. The eyes respond to use and reveal themselves to be confused by the shaking of the toetsel and get a pair of headphones on as the user this plug. If the battery is low show the eyes feel tired and become fit in the charging process. If the user has a notification, it shows the Aka smartphone, this is the place where normally the eyes are.
The devices have a 5″screen. The quadcore-soc has a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and is suspected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, supported by 1.5 GB of ram. The storage is 16GB storage memory, expandable with a microsd card. Furthermore, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixelversie on the front and runs the Aka a customized version of Android 4.4.
LG mentions the possibility the covers yourself to paint or to cover and the manufacturer seems to be on a young audience to target with the devices. Or the Aka’s also arrive to Europe is not known. In Korea they go to 500,000 Korean won cost, converted and including vat is around 445 euro.
