First versions of Android 5.0 firmware CyanogenMod come at the end of this month

The first Android 5.0-firmwares of the most popular custom rom for Android, CyanogenMod, come the end of this month. That has the company behind the alternative firmware published. That first versions are test versions and the final releases will follow later.

The new version will as version CyanogenMod 12, as is on GitHub. The first nightlies of CM12 to come at the end of this month or early next month, says the company in a post on its own site. That time is needed to CyanogenMod-specific features to convert to Android 5.0, while the company at the same time, the design will adapt to Googles design philosophy Material Design.
