Sharp unveils UD20 series uhdtv’s

Sharp has at the IFA fair in his first uhdtv’s announced for the European market. The UD20 devices, with beelddiagonalen of 60″ and 70″, would have a wider color gamut than competitive uhdtv’s.

The UD20 tvs use Sharp Rich Colour Display-imaging technology. This technique, where the backlight system would be improved promises a wider color spectrum. Sharp claims that its uhdtv a 23 percent wider spectrum than regular televisions. The super high resolution image engine has to take care of the upscaling video to 4k resolutions.

Sharp has in the UD20 devices Yahama AudioEngine technology integrated that the audio playback should improve. Further notifies the manufacturer that the tvs are THX certified.

The devices have a thin border of 10mm. Moreover, the uhdtv’s support for Miracast and dlna. Also have the tvs have four hdmi 2.0 inputs. The Sharp LC-60UD20EN and LC-70UD20EN are this month in the store available with recommended prices of respectively 3299 and 4999 euros.
