Microsoft is working to the maximum file size of 2GB for OneDrive to expand. That identify different users on Reddit. The American company also confirms that it works.

The Reddit users noticed last weekend that there is a sudden files that were larger than 2GB were synchronized with OneDrive. This is remarkable, because this was not previously possible due to a limit that Microsoft had imposed.

Microsoft says that it is now working on expanding the maximum file size to an unknown limit. “We started with a small number of customers and will roll out to everyone. We will have more to report in the near future”, said a spokesman compared to The Next Web.

In a thread over a week ago, Microsoft already know and actively work on the removal of the old limit of 2GB. The software giant was there to say for a long time working on it, but the comments on Reddit suggest that most of the users here now in the short term, something will notice.
