Asus has this week, the Ares III is announced. The video card, in limited edition available, it features two AMD Radeon R9 290X-gpu’s, which are standard overclocked to 1030MHz. The gpu’s are at the desired temperature using water cooling.
The two Hawaii-gpus have 8GB of gddr5 memory with a speed of 5000MHz. Asus claims that the card is down 15 percent faster than a Titan Z in 4k-resolution. Also, the Ares III up to 33 percent higher frame rates than that card.
The Ares III features water cooling by EK Water Blocks, which he and up to 25 percent cooler than the reference model Radeon R9 295X2. Thanks to the water cooling takes the card to a slot in the attachment. Three achtpins peg connectors provide for the flow.
Asus produces but five hundred copies of the Ares III under his gamersmerk Republic of Gamers. In the Netherlands, is the map to get from approximately 1,500 euros.
