The Japanese publisher also don’t know when the first episode appears.

The player takes the role of Max Caulfield, a young woman from Arcadia Bay in Oregon. Together with her friend Chloe investigate the disappearance of Rachel Amber, a girl where they at the school. Life is Strange is the second game that Dontnod delivers and again the studio for a female protagonist is chosen.
