EA announces subscription service for Xbox One games

Electronic Arts announces EA Access, a subscription service for Xbox One games. Players get access to The Vault, a collection of EA games during the subscription be playable. Members also receive discount on the purchase of the games.

EA asks for $ 5 per month or $ 30 a year for EA Access. There is already a beta test of the service, and EA thinks that the service ‘soon’ officially start. Those who subscribe to EA Access will get access to The Vault, a collection of Xbox One games that the subscription be playable without the abonnementhouder they purchased need to have. During the beta, players will have access to FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4.

Members also receive early access to demos and betas of upcoming EA games. The first trials that come available are Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Members also receive discount on the purchase of the digital version of the Xbox One games from EA. Also on other digital products, members get a discount, such as Battlefield 4 Premium, or, as in FIFA Ultimate Team, points. Or EA has plans to have the service also on other platforms available, is not known.
