Samsung has a new tabletlijn announced that are equipped with amoled screens, like the Galaxy S phones of the company. Within these Galaxy Tab S series, the Korean manufacturer with an 8.4″ and the 10.5″variant.
Both tablets feature a Super Amoled panel with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, which the pixel densities reach eur 359 and 288 pixels-per-inch. Thanks to the use of oled technology allows the tablets to a wider range of colors than traditional lcd’s; according to Samsung it goes to 90 percent of the Adobe RGB gamut, which is more colors than the commonly-used sRGB-spectrum. Because oled screens, individual pixels can be disabled, is it black and deeper than lcd’s. As a result, the contrast ratio is many times higher.
Appearance the Galaxy Tab S tablets much like the tablets of the TabPro series, the Samsung uses for the back of these new tablets of the same material as the Galaxy S5. Samsung has both models feature an Exynos 5 Octa soc, which consists of four Cortex A15 cores at 1.9 GHz and four Cortex A7 cores at 1.3 GHz. That chip is linked to 3GB of ram. On wireless, there is support for wi-fi ac with two antenna’s, gps, bluetooth 4.0, and also there is an ir emitter that, for example, a television can be operated. The storage memory can be expanded via the micro sd slot.
The tablets running on Android 4.4.2 with over Samsungs own TouchWiz interface, which in regard to style corresponding with the variant that is also on the Galaxy S5 to be used.
