Toshiba introduces two 2-1 laptops with ips screens

Toshiba has announced two new laptops with detachable touch screen announced. Both models have a 13.3″screen, but the Satellite Click 2 Pro P30W has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, while the Satellite Click 2 L30W with 1366×768 pixels should do.

Toshiba speaks of “2-in-1 detachable laptops’, which is both an ultrabook as a tablet. The Satellite Click 2 L30W is the entry-level model with a 13.3”-ips-display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and a Celeron N2830 processor. There is 4GB ddr3 and the storage capacity of 500GB is provided by a 7mm thick hdd. The tablet contains a usb 2.0 port, micro-hdmi and sd card reader, while the toetsenborddeel there is still a usb 3.0 port to add.

The battery life is according to Toshiba, in either laptop or tablet mode and 8 hours. The thickness of the tablet is at 13.9 mm and the weight is 1.3 pounds. In combination with the keyboard are the thickness and the weight, respectively, 22.9 mm and 2.2 pounds. The Click 2 L30W is Windows 8.1, includes Onkyo speakers and supports wi-fi ac and bluetooth 4.0. The hybrid at the end of June in the Netherlands and costs 599 euros.

Satellite Click 2 Pro P30W is with its Core i5-4200U processor, a lot more powerful and in addition to 4GB ddr3 provides this laptop with an ssd of 128GB. Not only is the resolution with 1920×1080 pixels higher, but the 13,3″screen of this model has a brightness of 300cd/m2. In addition to micro-hdmi has the Pro-variant, two usb 3.0 ports on the tablet part and re-add the keyboard, an extra usb 3.0 port.

The speakers of the Satellite Click 2 Pro are not coming from Onkyo, but Harman Kardon. The advertised battery life is six hours which is less than that of the cheaper Click 2, but the thickness of the tabletdeel is 11mm less and the weight of 1.05 pounds lower. In combination with the keyboard are the thickness and the weight, respectively, 20 mm and 2,05 kg. This 2-in-1 also comes at the end of June and the price is 999 euro.
