Guerrilla Games is working on Intercept, a coop expansion for the in 2013 appeared Killzone Shadow Fall. The extension appears in June. The new co-op mode with up to four players to play. The extension also appears as a stand-alone title.

Guerrilla Games announces new coop-mode Intercept via the website of Killzone Shadow Fall. The expansion includes four maps, in which a team of up to four players can play against the computer-controlled Helghasts. The purpose of the coop missions is to provide information about the Helghasts to identify and send to the headquarters of the USA.

Players within the team have different roles to assume. How many roles can be chosen, is not known. Guerrilla calls the Assault, which the enemies most of near to investigate, the ‘mid-to-long range Marksman and the supportive Medic and Tactician. More information about the various roles follows.

The extension appears in June. What Intercept is going to cost, is not known. Players who have a Season Pass for the game, get the Intercept for free. According to Guerrilla appears the expansion later in the year, also as a stand-alone game in the store.
