Google extends support for Chrome OS to five years

Google has Friday the support of its operating system Chrome OS with a. safety n years. This means that devices that are equipped with the around a browser-built operating system, now five years long with updates.

Probably is Google doing this to the operating system to make it more attractive for customers who are long time dependent of the software, such as companies.

Chrome OS is an operating system built around a web browser, that runs on an underlying Linux kernel. Google brings each half-year update for Chrome OS, which is primarily designed for ‘simple’ computer activities as the visits of the website and the use of e-mail.

Meanwhile, there are the past years, sixteen Chromeboxes and Chromebooks appeared, such as the Cr-48 and the Pixel. The Cr-48 appeared first Chrome OS device in 2011 and was initially to next year supported, but there is now one year.
