HTC has released the sdk online help developers effects that can create the second camera lens One (M8) smartphone. The manufacturer hopes that as more applications come out for the second lens on the back of the smartphone.
The sdk online at the developer site: HTC, already for the download a login is required. The sdk contains two apis: one that allows developers to use information from the second lens can get for use in your own apps, and one for the DimensionPlus-file format, which image information of the two sensors is stored.
HTC had previously promised that the sdk would release, though it is here to get a preview of it. The second camera lens is one of the points that HTC is hoping to stand out from the competition. The camera lens makes it possible to in-depth information about pictures to save. Thus, effects are possible, such as the blurren of the background or the change of the focal point of the photo in post-processing. Google is trying the same, but without the second lens in its own Camera app.
The manufacturer brought its One (M8) in early april. The phone has in addition to the two camera lenses include a 5″screen with full hd resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801-soc. The housing of the phone is largely made of aluminum.
