Sony has confirmed that the company is in the summer, a PlayStation 4 version of action-adventure game The Last of Us will be going to launch. A sequel to the last year for the PS3 published game, however, would still not occur.
According to Sercan Sulun, a Turkish marketing manager of Sony Computer Entertainment, The Last of Us this summer for the PlayStation 4, reports IGN. The game will be both physically and digitally for sale. A concrete release date or price are still not known.
Sulun did his revelation during an interview with Turkish website Multiplayer. On the question of whether a sequel was coming for The Last of Us answered the representative of PlayStation: “No, as far as I know, there will be no sequel, but I can say that the first game this summer for the PlayStation 4 will appear, both physically and digitally, and with enhanced graphics.” Sulun added that the PS4 version also the content of the dlc pack Left Behind will contain.
Although The Last of Us has not yet been officially announced for the PlayStation 4, it would hardly be a surprise if the game is indeed for Sony’s most recent console would appear.
