Photos midrange smartphone HTC with octacore processor come online

There are photos online appeared of a midrange smartphone from HTC with the name Desire 616. This phone would be running on an octacore processor from MediaTek and boast a 5″screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

The details and photos have been published by the Chinese certification body Tenaa, and show in contrast to many other HTC’s no stereo speakers on the front; instead there seems to be a speaker on the back to sit. The phone seems to be made of red plastic.

Tenaa also mentions many details of the device. It would run on a octacore processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.7 GHz. This is likely to be the MTK6592, a soc from MediaTek, with eight Cortex A7 processor cores and a Mali 450 gpu from ARM. HTC presented earlier, a device with a MediaTek soc.

The phone has a 5″screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen is the same size as that of the Tuesday presented One (M8), but has a much lower resolution. The number of pixels per inch comes out to 293, compared to 441 at the new One. The bezels are about the same size; the Desire 616 is a bit less long, but wider.

The camera of the upcoming Desire 616 has a resolution of eight megapixels, the front camera can selfies with a maximum resolution of two megapixel. HTC has the phone itself is not yet announced. That a Chinese institute him clears, probably means that he is in the coming months in China suits.
