Microsoft’s Surface 2 tablet with Windows RT is only very limited available in the Netherlands, Belgium before and the countries surrounding us. According to Microsoft exceeds the supply, causing shortages. Thus, it seems Microsoft learned from the first Surface RT tablet.

At Microsoft the Netherlands itself is the Surface 2 tablet with Windows RT and 32GB storage memory not in stock and the same applies for Belgium, France and Germany. In the Pricewatch was the tablet last week, also almost not in stock at online shops, as well as the 64GB edition. Now tell the webshops to be able to deliver, but that is based on a supply of only seven pieces.

“There is constantly supplied, but the supply is limited,” Microsoft, “What comes in will be divided between our commercial and consumentenkanalen. At this moment exceeds the demand the supply.” The manufacturer has questions about the offer and sales are still not answered. It is unclear, therefore, whether the sale is also a success can be called.

The limited availability is striking: for the first Surface RT tablet with Windows RT remained Microsoft with huge inventories down by disappointing demand. As a result, Microsoft’s tablet against predatory selling and had Microsoft hundreds of millions of euro’s depreciation. Microsoft seems to be learned and the Surface 2 only on a limited scale to produce.

Windows RT is for arm processors, referred to the variant of Windows that, until now, hardly accessible to consumers. Virtually all manufacturers stopped with the sale of tablets with the OS, because of poor sales. Only Microsoft and Nokia to produce Windows RT tablets, and Nokia is only for the US, the UK and Finland.
