Intel has the Core i5-4460T released: the first Core i5 that has four cores combines with a tdp of 35W. Until now, all Core i5 with tdp of 35W dualcores. The new processor is not in the line of Haswell Refresh, which in coming months will come true.

The Core i5-4460T is a quadcore without HyperThreading support, and there can also be only four threads to be processed. The maximum clock speed is 2.7 GHz and has 6MB of L3 cache is present. The gpu is the HD 4600 and that works on up to 1100MHz.

The Core i5 chips with a tdp of 35W Intel so far released were dualcores: the quadcores had a tdp of 45W a higher consumption. Also, there is already a quad-core Core i7-generation, with a tdp of 35W: the Core i7-4765T.

According to Cpu-world, the Core i5-4460T no model of the Haswell Refresh that Intel in the second quarter will be released. That Haswell Refresh models as expected from existing processors with slightly higher clock speed exist.
