Samsung presents two new smartwatch

Samsung has prior to telecombeurs Mobile World Congress two new smartwatch presented. The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo from april are on sale and run on Tizen instead of Android, such as the first Gear.

Except that the smartwatch on Tizen walk, there are relatively few changes compared to the first Gear. The screen is still a 1,63″amoled display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels. The soc has an update: in place of a singlecore 800MHz processor is a 1GHz dual-core.

Samsung also claims that the battery life is better; the manufacturer claims around 2-3 days on a battery charge, the last Gear for about a day. The Gear 2 has a 2-megapixel camera, the Gear 2 Neo has no camera. The Neo is also made of plastic, while the regular Gear 2 metal. Both smartwatch have a physical button below the screen, something that the Galaxy Gear has not.

The Gears are just like the previous version is only compatible with their own devices of Samsung such as the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4. Devices of other manufacturers cannot be used.
