Microsoft has released a firmware update for the Surface Pro 2 tablet released. This is the same update that in december of last year, but Microsoft stopped the rollout when, after many users complained of reduced battery life.
Although Microsoft, the release is still not in the update-history of the Surface Pro 2, there are multiple users that the firmware is received, writes ZDNet. The update should, among other improvements regarding stability and the sleep activation with the collapse of the cover.
Microsoft released the same patch already out, but stopped with the roll-out after many complaints were about errorcodes and accuduurverminderingen. Microsoft said the problems to investigate and resolve. Unknown is whether the company is there with the new update is successful. Users who have the december update installed the new patch, but Surface Pro 2 owners that the old patch had not yet.
Earlier this week, Microsoft released an update for the first generation Surface Pro, that improvements with regard to support of the Touch Cover 2 and Type Cover 2 accessories.
