Sony brings at the same time with the release of the PlayStation 4 six different apps for the Dutch market, the group announced. These include apps for Netflix, the NIS and Sony’s own music service Music Unlimited.

This Friday starts selling the PlayStation 4 in the Netherlands. Sony has prior announced which European apps for the console to appear. For the Dutch market, it goes up to six apps, to know which of video service Ximon, Netflix, NOS Sports, VidZone, IGN and Music Unlimited. In other European countries will appear in addition to apps, for example, the BBC and Amazons LOVEFiLM.

In total, 18 different services, including, incidentally, three of the BBC, who in the spring of 2014 need to be supplemented with more than twenty new apps, though it is not known whether or not there is also a new Dutch service. The apps are free to use, without a PlayStation Plus subscription is required.

In the US, the PS4 is already a week and a half to purchase. American media concluded that the console a lot of potential, but that the number of launch games are too limited and there are many unexploited opportunities.
