Parent company UPC is negotiating with the Ziggo acquisition

The parent company of UPC is negotiating a takeover of Ziggo. That has Ziggo confirmed in a statement. Earlier it was already clear that Liberty Global, a bid had to be made, but the Dutch kabelaar be that offer.

Ziggo says in the statement, only that it is negotiating as a result of a bid from Liberty Global. “Further announcements will be made if and when relevant,” according to the kabelaar. Ziggo notes, furthermore, that this does not mean that the acquisition will indeed take place.

It is already clear that the parent company of UPC, Ziggo wants to take over.
