The parent company of UPC is negotiating a takeover of Ziggo. That has Ziggo confirmed in a statement. Earlier it was already clear that Liberty Global, a bid had to be made, but the Dutch kabelaar be that offer.
It is already clear that the parent company of UPC, Ziggo wants to take over. In October, Ziggo announced that Liberty Global, a bid had been released, after months rumors went and the parent company of UPC, slowly but surely, more shares, Ziggo had bought. In July, it was announced that the parent company of UPC 28.5 percent of Ziggo in hands.
