MSI announces mini-itx motherboard and compact GTX 760 for gaming

MSI has a compact duo for gaming, announced the Z87I motherboard, and GTX 760 Gaming ITX. With the products aimed MSI on gamers who have a small system want to build, but not too many concessions in terms of performance to do so.

The Z87I Gaming AC motherboard is a mitx board with the Z87 Express chipset despite its small size, some for gamers interesting properties. So the board will be a Network Killer E2205 gigabitethernet adapter on board, but for wireless applications, there is also support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ ac-wi-fi and Intel’s Wireless Display supported.

Further, there are according to the specifications five sata-600 interfaces and an esata variant. Also, a displayport, hdmi and dvi connection is present, and provides the board six usb 3.0 and four usb 2.0 ports. The motherboard has finally a single pci-e 3.0 interface.

The GTX 760 Gaming ITX is a compact video card with dimensions of 170x111x41mm and is, therefore, as long as the mitx board. The clock speed is 1006MHz with boostclock for a gpu frequency up to 1072MHz. MSI provides, the card’s 2GB of gddr5 memory, dl-dvi-i, hdmi and mini-displayport. The card is cooled by MSI’s new Radax fan, which is cooling via radial and axial air flows to realize and the heat on the back of the card releases.
