HTC has released a number of new devices in the Desire series announced. The top model, the Desire 700, a similar housing on the One, but has less powerful hardware. The manufacturer announced already with more cheap models to come.
The Desire 700 features a 5″screen with relatively low resolution of 960×540 pixels, so let HTC know during the presentation in Taiwan. Inside housing is running a Snapdragon soc with four cores, but it is not likely to be a high-endmodel. The ram is 1GB and for pictures is a 8-megapixel camera present. There is 8GB of storage built in which can be expanded with micro-sdkaartjes and fit two sim cards in the housing.
You will probably notice as HTC Desire 700 as a cheap variant of the One: the housings of both units resemble each other. The manufacturer has the Desire 700 is priced at 13.900 Taiwanese dollars, converted approximately 345 euros. Thus, the device is about 100 euros cheaper than the One.
Further is HTC with a dualsim variant of the previously presented Desire 600. The unit has the version number 601 and has surprisingly only 4GB of storage memory; the Desire 600 has 8GB. Finally, HTC has a successor to the Desire 500 was announced. The Desire 501 has, just like the previous model with a 4.3″screen with resolution of 800×480 pixels. However, there is another soc built-in; a not further disclosed is dualcore. Also missing the dualsim capability.
It is unclear whether HTC new smartphones in the Netherlands and want to release. However, it gave the manufacturer already more cheap phones from like and the Desire-series normally also the Netherlands, so a release seems plausible.
