Belgian authorities seem to be in the first half of 2013 more personal data requested from Microsoft than a year earlier. From Dutch law enforcement agencies, the number of requests just about the same.

Belgian opsporingdiensten did in the first half of this year, 527 requests from a total of 864 customers of Microsoft. The first half of last year, there are no figures, but over the whole year was 766 requests about 1305 customers. As the Belgian law enforcement authorities on this pace to continue with requests to MIcrosoft, the number of more than a quarter higher than last year. The figures are in a report from Microsoft about this topic.

In the Netherlands, is that growth is not to see. The netherlands asked 411 times to data at Microsoft, and that went over 714 people. That was in 2012 861 times about 1440 people. There seems to be a small decline is visible.

Just as in many other countries lead the requests in the Netherlands and Belgium never meant that Microsoft content users transmit. That only happens much in the United States. However, bears Microsoft often information about customers or transactions, if so requested. That happens in both the Netherlands and Belgium in more than three-quarters of the cases. It is the second time that Microsoft is this Law Enforcements Requests Report online. Google does that already.
