Lance Sloane, publisher Warner Bros is responsible for the Mortal Kombat series, reveals in an interview that there is not only a film around the series being worked on, but also to a new game. Who is unknown and when the game is released is not known.
The interviewer from GamerHub asks Sloane to the status of the Mortal Kombat movie where Warner Bros are working on. The producer replies, however, only that for the film a good script is and that the publisher still some legal things should be unraveling before it can be determined when a movie is going to be and when the movie goes off. Unasked, he adds to this the fact that Warner Bros still do not know whether the film at the same time on the market with the game that is in the works, which he the existence of a new Mortal Kombat game reveals. The new game is a sequel to the game from 2011, which is simply Mortal Kombat was, but the most recent part of a series that’s been running since 1992.
Although Lance Sloane in the interview, nothing about release, it is obvious that the new game is made by NetherRealm Studios. The studio, owned by Warner Bros, is led by Ed Boon, who in 1992 along with John Tobias stood at the cradle of the Mortal Kombat series. NetherRealm also provided the game from 2011. When the new game on the market is to come, and for what platforms, is not known.
