MakerBot announces 3d scanner for desktops

MakerBot, the organization that previously 3d-printers has been released, now also has a 3d scanner on the market. The MakerBot Digitizer, such as the scanner is called, can be used together with the Replicator 3d printer be used.

The Digitizer was already as the prototype shown, but MakerBot took the design further in-depth on their hands. The renewed Digitizer works together with the Replicator or other 3d-printers, so that objects easily scanned, scaled and duplicated. MakerBot wants to use the Digitizer a similar revolution in 3d scanners with 3d printers did.
