Lenovo updates notebook lineup with touchscreens and Haswell

Of the five laptops that Lenovo refreshed, there are four in the IdeaPad series. The IdeaPad S400 Touch has a 14″screen, while the screen diagonal of the S500 Touch 15.6 inch amounts. The laptops get fuel-efficient Ivy Bridge processors and are relatively thin and light, with the lightest version at 1.36 kg. The IdeaPad S400 will be 599 euros in costs, while the S500, depending on the implementation, 599 to 749 euros will cost. Both laptops come out this month.

A step more expensive than the S-series is Lenovo’s U330 Touch and U430 Touch. These new laptops constitute an ‘update’ for the U310 and U410-ultrabooks. The new laptops in the U series get Haswell processors and therefore have also, by default, a touch screen, that writes Intel for the latest generation of ultrabooks. Also, the graphics chips have a bit of a had; Lenovo now provides GeForce 700 chips, where that first has chips from the 600 series. In the Yoga series, Lenovo Yoga 11S. The ‘regular’ Yoga 11 is already since december in the shelves and comes with a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and Windows RT. The updated Yoga 11S will get a Ivy Bridge processor from Intel and runs the full version of Windows 8. The Yoga 11S will be the beginning of August for 999 euros over the counter.

Lenovo’s Miix is a 10.1″tablet that features an Intel Atom processor. The ips screen has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and the storage memory of the tablet is 64GB. With the help of a micro sd card, the memory is screwed on to 96GB. The tablet weighs 544 grams and have 10 hours to run on a battery charge. The price will be, when the tablet in early september in the us, 499 euros.

In addition to the Windows tablets, Lenovo also three Android tablets from. The A1000, A3000 and S6000 to run all three Android Jelly Bean 4.2. The two tablets from the A-series have a 7″screen with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The A1000 features a MediaTek dualcore processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The soc in the A3000 tap also on 1.2 GHz but has four cores, just like the S6000. The screen resolution of the S6000 is 1280×800 pixels. The cheapest tablet will cost 129 euros, while the A3000 169 euro will cost. For the S6000 will be 249 euros must be consideration. The three tablets will be in August or september to purchase.

Finally, Lenovo A720 an update and this all-in-one is now listening to the name of the A730. The 27″ all-in-one has an update to the Haswell architecture, and now features a quad-core Core i7-4700MQ processor. At the beginning of August comes the A730 is available for prices from 1499 to 1799 euros.
