Samsung acknowledges wifi problem in Galaxy S4 with D-Link routers

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S4 has problems in combination with a number of wi-fi routers from D-Link. Users complain about poor connections, especially to the break of the connection after a few minutes.

That said a spokesman for the Korean manufacturer at ZDnet. According to the spokesperson to owners of D-Link routers their firmware update or reset the device. It is unclear whether this is the network connectivity problems permanently resolves. Also on Tweakers users notice problems with the wi-fi connection in conjunction with D-Link routers.

Samsung claims that the problem is in the firmware of D-Link, but the latter proposes that routers from other manufacturers also have problems with the Galaxy S4. Which manufacturers this allows D-Link however not know. Incidentally, D-Link, however, to know given the problem with the Android flagship, Samsung will investigate.

It is still unclear which party is the problem solving. Possible, D-Link, with a software update, but it is also possible that just Samsung does this.
