Western Digital introduces a 5mm thick hard drive

Western Digital has to say that the world’s first hard disk with a thickness of just five millimeters on the market. The laptopschijf should be thinner designs of notebooks.

The 5mm drives are available in two variants. The WD Blue series is equipped with traditional hard drive technology, while the WD Black drives, hybrid drives with a built-in caching ssd.
