Samsung wants seven oled patents LG declared invalid

Samsung has a court in Seoul asked seven patents from LG with regard to oled technology void. According to Samsung miss the techniques, the necessary innovativeness and originality to grant as a patent to justify.

It is not clear what LG’s patents Samsung exactly invalid to declare. However, it is likely that that the same as the seven patents that LG mentioned in the end of september, filed lawsuit against Samsung.

LG claims that Samsung these patents violates with the Galaxy S III, the Galaxy S II,and Galaxy Note smartphones and the Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet. These models are all equipped with a oled display. These include patents with respect to control of the pixels and the Narrow Bezel technology, LG.

The patentzaak of LG is as a reaction considered on the lawsuit that Samsung against LG at the beginning of september brought has, due to theft of oled technology and the forwarding to a third party. Former Samsung employees would have committed theft.
