Nokia has launched its cheapest model with Windows Phone in the Lumia line are presented. The Lumia 510 has a 4″screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, running on an outdated Snapdragon S1 soc and has a suggested retail price in the Netherlands would amount to around 180 euros.

The phone, however, seems not yet to come to Holland; Nokia has the release been announced for China, India, Latin America and parts of Asia. The phone has a 4″lcd display, larger than the 3.7″screens of the Lumia 800, Lumia 710 and Lumia 610. The resolution is the same as that of the previous Lumia’s: 800×480 pixels.

The phone runs on a Snapdragon S1 soc from Qualcomm, presumably the same MSM7227 as that in the Lumia 610. The clock speed is 800MHz. The phone is coming next month with Windows Phone 7.5, but at an unspecified, later time, an update to version 7.8. The phone will never be a Windows Phone 8 run, the new version of Microsoft’s mobile operating system, which is next week officially, this should appear.

The Lumia 510 is most likely not to the Netherlands or Belgium; the prices of the Lumia 710 and 610 are both already dropped to below 200 euros, which Nokia the price of the Lumia 510 to be far below the current price would have to drop. Moreover, it comes here later this year, the duo of Windows Phone 8 devices: the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820.
