Samsung has released its first tablet that will run on Microsoft’s Windows RT operating system was announced. The ATIV Tab contains a Snapdragon S4 dualcore, has a diagonal screen size of 10.1-inch and get a price of 699 euro.
The ATIV Tab is a lot thinner and lighter than the older Windows tablets from Samsung; which ran Windows 7 and had, therefore, a x86-processor on board. The smaller size and the lower heat generation of the Snapdragon S4 made it possible for the ATIV Tab is 8.9 mm thin.
The dual-core Snapdragon S4 soc has a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. To the rear is a 5-megapixel camera, while on the front a 1.9-megapixel camera is placed. Furthermore, the tablet over usb and a micro-hdmi connector.
The tablet weighs 570 grams and contains a 8200mAh battery; Samsung do not let you know how long the tablet lasts for the turn it back on the charger. According to Samsung launch the tablet almost immediately. The ATIV Tab comes with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013. The price of the unit, is 699 euros, and in the fourth quarter to the ATIV tab in the Dutch stores.
