Samsung has a dualsim device in its Galaxy S-line presented. The Galaxy S Duos is similar to the Galaxy S III, but has a less wide screen, and a much less powerful processor than the flagship.

The Galaxy S Duos has space for two sim cards, both standby. The Android 4.0 smartphone features a 4″screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Because Samsung is not clear about the used display technology, it is not obvious that it is a amoled panel. Presumably Samsung has a cheaper lcd panel used.

The phone shows external similarities with the Galaxy S III, the most expensive model in the line-up of Samsung. Thus, the materials used, and the curves of the unit match. The Home button on the Duos seems to be comparatively something bigger and the front camera, together with various sensors on the other side of the speaker. Also, the phone is smaller and thicker than the Galaxy S III.

Samsung mentions nothing about the processor used, except for the clock speed of 1GHz, but supposedly it goes to the Qualcomm MSM7227A. The same processor is in the LG Optimus L7 and Nokia Lumia 610. The singlecore Cortex A5 processor is assisted by the old Adreno 200 gpu.

The Galaxy S Duos should be in Europe in september come on the market. The price is not yet clear, but given the features and specifications he will probably between 150 and 300 euros costs.
