LG comes with a 27″-Smart TV

LG has a Smart TV with a screen diagonal of 27 inches in its assortment. The TM2792 has a passive 3d ips panel, suitable for full-hd. The television will be available from september in Europe.

The TM2792 is the first 27″-Smart TV from LG. This makes it the smallest Smart TV that LG offers at the moment. Previously, the Korean manufacturer is already up to 27″-personal tv’s, but who were not yet equipped with Smart TV functionality. The new model features LG’s SmartShare functionality, which means that the tv can handle laptops, smartphones and external hard drives. This may be connected with the tv via mhl and WiDi.

The tv has a passive 3d ips panel, which with the passive glasses 3d movies can be viewed. The panel has a full hd resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, according to the manufacturer, a wide viewing angle, of 178 degrees. The tv also has support for dlna and features two hdmi ports, vga, composite, scart, three usb ports and an ethernet port.

The Smart TV functions can be controlled with the included Magic Remote or a keyboard and mouse to connect. The user can video-on-demand, 3d content, games and apps to download through the built-in home dashboard.

From september, the tv in the sale to European markets, the price is still unknown. The announcement comes just before the IFA-consumer electronics, on 29 August. Presumably the tv is shown there and a price.
