LG announces monitor with 21:9 ratio to

The South-Korean manufacturer LG has launched two new monitors announced. One of the scenes has a striking widescreen aspect ratio of 21:9; the other monitor is intended for photographers and other graphics experts.

On the day before the IFA consumer electronics announces LG’s two new monitors. The EA96 is especially noticeable due to its unusual 21:9 aspect ratio. This ratio is especially in cinemas. The ultrawidescreen-monitor has a diagonal screen size of 29 inches and features an ips panel with a resolution of 2560×1080 pixels. With this monitor aims for the LG especially on multitaskers and bioscoopfans.

The EA96 features a 4-Screen Split ” feature, which allows the user to the screen in four equal parts to split, in order to multitask. The monitor can be connected via two hdmi ports, a dvi-d-dualpoort with mhl support and a display-port. Also, two 7W-speakers in the monitor processes.

With the EA86 is aiming LG on graphics experts, such as photographers and filmmakers. This 27-inchscherm features an ips panel with 2560×1440 pixels. According to the South Korean manufacturer, the screen can 99 percent of the Adobe rgb spectrum view. LG provides software – and hardware-based kleurcalibratietools.

LG shows the monitors at the IFA-consumer electronics, on 29 August. The monitors go in november in the sale, the prices are not yet published.
