Epic buys remaining shares in People Can Fly

Epic has the remaining shares of the Polish developer People Can Fly bought. In 2007, Epic already has a majority stake in the studio. With the acquisition, leaving the founder and two important graphic designers in the studio.

Epic Games is now the full owner of game developer People Can Fly, reports The Verge. The Polish company set for itself in 2004, on the map with the shooter game Painkiller, after which the Epic was hired to be the pc port of Gears of War. In 2007 decided Epic acquired a majority share in People Can Fly.

Following the partial acquisition, the two companies have worked together to Bulletstorm, that in 2011 came out for the pc, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. People Can Fly is now working with Epic on Gears of War: Judgement. This game is a prequel in the Gears of War series and it should be in march 2013 for Xbox 360 come out.
