Amazon is planning to make its own smartphone to introduce. This now works together with Foxconn, claiming at least Bloomberg. With its own smartphone would Amazon with the Apple iPhone and Google’s Android want to compete.
Other sources would, compared to Bloomberg have indicated that Amazon is currently trying to get patents in the field of wireless technology to obtain, so that it can protect against patent claims.
The development of a smartphone would be a logical move for Amazon, which already has its own hardware on the market in the form of tablets and e-readers. Less likely is Bloombergs claim that Amazon would not only want to compete with Google, but also Apple. Until now founded in the Amazon, especially on cheap hardware that is designed to purchases of, for example, tv-series, movies and e-books to promote.
