“Sony is working on quadcore smartphone with amoled screen

Sony reportedly to a smartphone with a quad-core processor and 4.3″amoled screen. Reports that a Chinese Baidu site. This would require a device be released with a Qualcomm S4 Pro processor and 4.55″-720p screen.

The first device according to the Baidu hosted blog in this summer to be announced and is a variant of the already announced Xperia Ion. Biggest addition is the camera sensor, better videos should be able to make it in dark conditions by the addition of a white subpixel. Sony has the sensor in January announced. The camera can also be hdr for photos and videos. Smartphones use hdr only in photos.

The LT29i has in addition to the 13Mp camera a 4,55″-lcd with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 Pro, the lte version of the MSM8260A, which is in the HTC One S to find. The Pro version has a revamped gpu, an Adreno 320. Sony’s current flagship model, the Xperia S uses an MSM8260, an older processor from Qualcomm, with an older micro-architecture than the MSM8960 Pro.

After the LT29i Hayabusa must be the LT30i, the first Sony smartphone with quadcore processor. What type of processor that will be is as yet unknown. The LT30i would also have a 4.3″-amoled-screen from AU Optronics. Yet used all Xperia smartphones lcd’s.
