OnLive streaming Windows and Office now also for Android tablets

OnLive has an Android version of Onlive Desktop app, which allows users of Googles operating system Windows 7, Microsoft Office and other Windows applications to their tablet can stream.

OnLive has its Desktop app for Android tablets introduced, after a similar app for the iPad, demonstrated and released. Onlive streams the application Windows 7 from cloudservers to tablets. With the free Standard version, users will get a few Windows applications like Word 2010, Excel 2010 and PowerPoint 2010, and Adobe Reader X is present. In addition, users get 2GB of online storage at OnLive free: video and music can be streaming played.

There are also paid subscriptions. So, for Plus $ 4.99 to be paid, and users get Internet Explorer 9, including Dropbox, and priority access to cloud desktop from OnLive’s servers. Also there are still Pro and Enterprise subscriptions, more storage, and management capabilities to offer. For these latter services would be OnLive, on live desktop sharing to work, writes AndroidPolice.

The app works on tablets that have Android 2.3 or later versions to run. It would, in any event, the Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Acer Iconia Tab A500 and Asus Eee TF101 work. Also would there be support for bluetooth keyboards. For now, the app is only available for residents of the United States.
