ASRocks Z77 motherboards appear

The first motherboards for Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors with Z77 chipset on board online appeared. The signs are likely to be next week during the Cebit exhibition will be shown, but will be only in april appear on the market.

The full line-up of ASRocks Series 7 motherboards, or motherboards for Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors, is now bekendgeworden. The company will, with at least eight models, including two under the Fatal1ty-flag will be released. Those two high-end boards, the Fatal1ty Z77 Professional and Fatal1ty Z77 Professional-M, a matx variant. A large number of signs, only the name is known: ASRock brings the H77M, H77 Pro4/MVP, Z77 Pro4, Z77 Pro4-M, Z77 Extreme4 and Z77 Extreme6. These latter are detailed specifications published.

The Z77 Extreme6 board, including all of the Series 7 motherboards with a lga1155 socket for Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge processors is suitable. There are four ddr3 memory slots and an 8+4-voedingsconfiguratie. The board features three pci-express x16 slots, two pci-express 3.0 support. A single x1 slot, a mini pci-express slot and two pci slots make up the rest of the expansion options.

The chipset provides two sata600 ports and four sata300 connectors: a ASMedia chip provides two extra sata600 interfaces. Four usb 3.0 ports, of which two as a header and two on the i/o panel, are also controlled by the Z77 chipset provided; two additional ports are from an Etron controller. A gigabitnetwerkpoort and 7.1-channel is also present, as are four video outputs to the image of the Ivy Bridge gpu to perform.

Over the two Fatal1ty boards are few details available, the specifications could only be from photos made. The Professional board is very similar to the Extreme6 board, but swap the mini-pci-express-slot for a x1 slot and has some extra sata ports. The Professional-M motherboard is of Asus’ RoG Gene boards and is equipped with three x16 slots and a single x1 slot: pci slots are missing. Prices and further specifications will be during the fair in Hanover is expected.
