First pictures of Acer’s new A700 tablet appear

A Russian blog has a copy of Acers upcoming Android tablet A700 managed to get hold of and some photos of the device online. The tablet has a Tegra 3 soc and a 10.1″screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels.

The specificates of the Android tablet came already via an xml profile on the website of Acer to the outside. The Russian blog Nomobile.ru now confirms the presence of a Tegra 3 soc and the image resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Furthermore, the A700 has a micro-sd card reader, a micro-usb port and a micro-hdmi output. It is also possible to use a 3g sim card for a mobile data connection. Around the tablet also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a volume rocker, a power button and a button for rotatievergrendeling to find.

The front houses a camera for video calling with a hd resolution, probably 720p. The camera on the back is assisted by a flash and has a resolution of 5 megapixel. The tablet weighs 650 grams and would be about a 9800mAh-battery that the tablet ten hours of continuous video can turn. Most likely running the A700 to the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.

Acer will be the A700, expected to close by early January at the CES show in Las Vegas present. In march or april would the tablet have come.
