There is currently no English version of the voice control Siri. That says a spokesperson from Apple with the introduction of the iPhone 4S in the Netherlands. Speaking to Siri is at the earliest well into 2012 or even later.

This will give buyers of the iPhone 4S in the Netherlands at the moment no version of the voice control in the own language, so says a spokesperson from Apple. Tweakers.net spoke to the spokesman on the occasion of the introduction of the iPhone 4S in the Netherlands. “We have the introduction in English, French and German. There, in 2012, five languages: Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. Other languages, such as English, follow at the earliest, later in 2012 or 2013.”

The introduction of Siri in a certain language requires a lot of work, said the British spokesman. “So, Siri all of the accents and dialects identify. Daarvoer should be much spoken by speakers of all accents. In addition to Dutch-language services will be added for things like restaurantrecensies. We work hard, but we don’t know when Siri in English is ready.”

Siri is the voice control on the iPhone 4S commands in natural language to understand. The voice command is extensively discussed in the review of the iPhone 4S Tweakers.net Friday published.

Apple released the iPhone 4S Friday in the Netherlands. Because the device at all carriers could be voorbesteld and there is very little stock in the shops was present, there were few people in the row in front of shops where the equipment could be purchased. The 4S came two weeks ago in the first countries, including Germany and France.
