Asus has 11,6″ and 13,3″-ultrabooks officially ge lwa site. The manufacturer then the thin aluminum notebooks under a new denominator; the Zenbook. The notebooks come in december on the market and the prices start at 1149 euro.
The Zenbooks UX21 and UX31 have an aluminum chassis and have energy efficient Core i5 or Core i7 cpus are accompanied by 4GB of ddr3 memory. All models will be equipped with an ssd, which can be chosen from 128 or 256GB storage capacity. The 11.6″model has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, while the 13,3″model with a resolution of 1600×900 pixels. The notebooks are according to Asus on their thickest point, only 9mm high, and roads, respectively, 1.1 and 1.3 kg.
Via a direct-to function, the devices should be within two seconds from sleep to awake. In that same sleep must the notebooks with a full battery two weeks on standby. The Zenbooks come with two usb ports, one of which is the usb 3.0 standard supports, and also have support for wi-fi b/g/n and bluetooth 4.0. The 13,3″model also has an sd card reader.
Asus is going the Zenbooks from mid-december in the Benelux delivered in three different versions. The UX21 is only a model with a Core i7 cpu and 128GB ssd. With the UX31, you can choose an i5 version with a 128GB ssd or a i7 version with 256GB ssd.
