Lenovo will Motorola brand for more expensive smartphones. That leaves a senior official of the Chinese manufacturer to know in an interview. It is unknown what that means for the popular Moto G-line from Motorola.
The ceo says in the interview with business newspaper, The Wall Street Journal at the consumer electronics show CES that the upcoming smartphones of Motorola mainly above the 400 dollar priced, which converted and including vat increases above about 400 euro. Cheaper smartphones will be the brand name Lenovo carry.
It is unknown what that step means for the Moto E and Moto G lines of smartphones. The Moto G-line is since its release in november 2013, the most popular budget smartphones in the Pricewatch. The latest smartphones from Motorola, the new Moto X and Nexus 6, both are above the 400 euro.
Lenovo bought Motorola last year from Google. Under Google, the company has concentrated properly on cheaper models, with almost stock Android.
