“British police arrest suspect after ddos Xbox and PlayStation networks”

The British police have a 22-year-old man held partly behind the massive ddos on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network last week. The man would be part of the Lizard Squad, who against a fee, ddos attacks read. More members were arrested.

The 22-year-old suspect Wednesday night formally arrested for identity theft and infringement on the British Computer Misuse Act. The arrest is part of an investigation into internet fraud that between 2013 and August 2014 is committed, and taking money from PayPal accounts was stolen. “They have everything included, Xbox One, phones, laptops, usb sticks,” says the man at the Daily Dot.

According to beveiligingsonderzoeker Brian Krebs goes to one of the members of the Lizard Squad, the group that many ddos attacks are claimed, including that on the gamenetwerken Xbox Live and PlayStation Network last week. Also, the group would have tried the integrity of the Tor network to attack by thousands of relays.

The arrest follows on the introduction of the service, Lizardstresser by the Lizard Squad. Allows the users against payment ddos attacks. The service is available at the time of writing, offline and via Twitter claiming the Lizard Squad itself that, in addition to the arrested Briton, two members are arrested. These holdings are not yet confirmed.
